Snowball Names Fun! ❄️
Just in time for the chilly weather and this weekend’s freeze, our Pre-K friends brought the snow indoors with a Snowball Names literacy activity! ⛄📚
The children had a blast “tossing” snowballs while building important early literacy skills! Through this hands-on small-group activity, students are learning to:
✨ Recognize their names
✨ Identify letters in their names
✨ Match upper and lowercase letters
✨ Strengthen letter recognition
✨ Build confidence and engagement with print
Learning + movement + winter fun = a perfect combo! ❄️💙

Mrs. Genny’s first grade class has been busy in math measuring objects around their classroom using centimeter cubes! They recorded their answers and compared lengths of objects using “shorter than” and “longer than” statements.
Ms. Michelle's kindergarten students love engaging with Zearn lessons and working in groups during intervention and math smart group time! Differentiated small group instruction allows students the opportunity to make discoveries and engage with their peers, while improving academic achievement! Keep up the good work kindergarten Wildcats!!
We love when Mrs. Emily Simon visits EPE! Our Little Wildcats had a blast learning valuable social emotional lessons! 🫧
Today our pre-K friends rang in the New Year in the sweetest way! Instead of a traditional toast, they made TOAST decorated with yummy toppings like fruit, sprinkles, and gummy bears.
They even dropped a ball and counted down just like the real New Year’s Eve!
The day was filled with fireworks, fun activities, learning, and lots of excitement.
To top it all off, our pre-K stars made New Year’s resolutions promising to be star students, make strong choices, and try their very best every day.
What a joyful way to welcome a brand new year of growth, learning, and fun! 🎆
